A29 near Arundel still closed after 'serious collision' - heavy congestion on A27

Traffic has backed up along the A27 near Arundel after a large section of the A29 was closed this morning (August 10).

According to Sussex Roads Police, a 'serious collision' between a van and a motorcycle has kept the major A-road closed for much of the morning and into this afternoon as an investigation takes place.

Traffic has backed up along the A27 westbound past Crossbush and eastbound towards Slindon Common.

Motorists have been advised by police to avoid the area.

Sussex Police has been approached for more information.
