According to Sussex Police, the road was closed at around 4.40pm after officers were called to reports of an overturned lorry northbound between Dial Post and Buck Barn. One crew from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was in attendance, with rescue equipment. According to an eyewitness, the road remained closed until at least 9.30pm last night as the emergency services worked on the scene. It has reopened this morning (September 29). Sussex Police has been contacted for more information.
