A-LEVELS: Shoreham Academy scoops its best results ever

SHOREHAM Academy has scooped its best ever set of A-Level result, its thrilled head teacher has proclaimed today (August 13).

The academy, in Kingston Lane, achieved an impressive 44 per cent pass rate at A* to B, with more than three quarters of students achieving grades between A* and C.

Star performers from this year’s crop of students includes Luke fiveash, who clinched an impressive haul of grades including three A* and two As – securing his place At St Andrew’s University to read geography – and Spencer Prescott, who achieved two A*s and an A. Spencer has high hopes of applying to study at Cambridge University in the autumn.

Delighted head teacher Jim coupe said: “The results we have achieved this year are our best ever. I feel incredibly proud of all our students. I wish all of our students every success as they go on to their universities.”
