A 68ft fishing boat had to be rescued by Shoreham lifeboat crew when it lost its steering.

The all-weather lifeboat was launched at 2.20pm yesterday to help the vessel, which had broken down three miles south of Hove.

The fishing boat, which had five people on board, had lost its steering and was found drifting near Hove.

The lifeboat crew took the vessel under tow into Shoreham Harbour and returned to station just before 4pm.
