13-year-old boy seriously injured in Worthing collision

A 13-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital following a collision in Worthing.

Emergency services responded to the collision in Goring Road on Thursday evening (July 30).

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Emergency services were called to a collision involving a car and a 13-year-old boy pedestrian in Goring Road, Worthing, at just before 7pm on Thursday (July 30).

“The boy suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital by air ambulance.

“The driver was uninjured.”

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision.

They are asked to report information to Sussex Police online or call 101, quoting Operation East.

South East Coast Ambulance Service has been approached for a comment.
