Heart melting pictures show families of ducklings and cygnets on Worthing’s Brooklands Lake

With spring well and truly sprung, new life is popping up all over the place as flowers bloom, trees blossom and fluffy little ducklings take their first tentative steps into the world.

Brooklands Lake in Worthing’s Brooklands Park hosted two new families on Friday (May 1), as ducklings and baby swans, known as cygnets, took to the water with their parents. These pictures show the lovely creatures in all their glory. Brooklands Park is set to be renovated into a science adventure park, after Worthing Borough Council announced multi-million pound plans to make the site a more attractive destination for families.
