Southlands Hospital Shoreham demolition – five years on

More than five years have now passed since demolition work at Southlands Hospital in Shoreham began.

The main Harness Block was razed to the ground to make way for homes on the site. The sale of the land helped to fund the multi-million pound, state-of-the-art Western Sussex Eye Care centre at the part of the Southlands site that was retained, which opened in June, 2017.
