Tough time for hayfever sufferers across Sussex

Hayfever sufferers face a difficult time over the next few days with the pollen count across Sussex set to hit the ‘very high’ level.

Today (Wednesday June 10) the Met Office’s pollen and spore forecast is high but Thursday and Friday it moves up to very high.

The UV forecast for Sussex is also high, with the Met Office advice - ‘Seek shade during midday hours, cover up and wear sunscreen’.

The highest levels will be Thursday and Friday.

Temperatures are set to hit 25degC by Friday but with the possibility of thundery showers.

However, it all looks set to change for the weekend with temperatures dropping to 18degC and light showers.
