Unusual creatures visit nursery children

Some unusual animals paid a visit to the children of Busy Bees Pre-School based at Southwick Methodist Church in Southwick.

The children got to hold Brian the giant African snail, Wade the hissing cockroach, and watched Pokey the hermit crab showed-off his new shell home.

Felicia the Tarantula was a big hit, with many children exclaiming how beautiful she was.

The star of the morning was Stitch the Rat who obliged the captive audience with a trick or two and showed off how intelligent rats can be.
