Primary school children turn into pirates for performance

This year's Shoreham Beach Primary School play saw children from years three to six coming together to perform Pirates of the Curry Bean, a swashbuckling adventure.

Teachers Coco Swanson and Nicola Crowhurst, who directed the show at the school in Shingle Road, Shoreham Beach, said: “It was lovely to see the children from each year group working so well.

“It made a change for the children not to have to be performing during a heatwave - instead they were dodging showers.

“The feedback from parents was wonderful and we’re so proud that all the children put in 100 per cent effort into what was a very successful show.”
