Jim Coupe, Principal at Shoreham Academy, said: “I am very pleased to see our Sixth Formers moving on successfully to the next stages of their lives and education, with so many set to join prestigious Russell Group universities this autumn. At Shoreham Academy, we pride ourselves on delivering both academic rigour and education with character and I know that the skills, experiences and opportunities that students have received during their time here will help them thrive in whatever they do next.

“It is exactly this strength of character and resilience from our students that has shone through in recent months, during what has been an undeniably difficult time for everyone. I wish them all the very best as they take their next steps at university and beyond.”

Kieran Felton, Assistant Principal overseeing the Sixth Form, added: “On behalf of our Sixth Form staff, I want to congratulate students today for the hard work and dedication they have shown throughout their results. Even through the difficulties of this year, they have been an honour to teach and I look forward to seeing what they achieve next as they move onto Higher Education and begin their adult lives.”
