In March, PestFix in Ferry Road, Littlehampton, approached the Government to offer its support – and since then has delivered millions of life-saving PPE items into the NHS supply chain.

Matt and Dan England, company directors, said they were proud to be working with the health service.

They said: “Our small, dedicated global team, spanning three continents, has worked non-stop for the past 70 days to support efforts of getting PPE to the front line involving an ongoing and herculean logistics operation.”

According to its website, PestFix sells a variety of pest control items such as rodent and animal traps, insect repellents, air gun ammunition and personal protective equipment.

The company was awarded the contract because of its ‘unique ability to secure production at specialised medical PPE manufacturing plants at short-notice around the globe, to provide these vital items at a time when the entire world was chasing diminishing supplies’.

Their work will continue until the coronavirus pandemic was fully under control, the pair said.
