Shoreham charity shop hosts £1 yard sale ahead of full reopening

The SOLD charity shop in Shoreham High Street is planning a pop-up £1 shop for the weekend, as it begins to reopen to customers.

The yard sale is a new concept for the shop, which provides opportunities for people with learning disabilities.

Carolyn Shrosbee, founder, said: “SOLD has been closed for almost four months now but we are slowly getting back on our feet.

“We are back from this Saturday but for the first week, we will be operating out of the back yard, where we have set up a pop up £1 shop.

“We have been planning and will make every effort to make sure that staff and customers are safe and we will do it in true SOLD style.

“Please pop down, have a browse, say hello. We have missed you all and each other. The trainees are keen to get back and are ready for work.”

The yard sale will start on Saturday, July 4, and continue from Tuesday to next Friday, from 10am to 4pm.

The shop will then open properly on Saturday, July 11.
