WRITING WORKSHOP: At Shoreham Airport

ASPIRING authors are being invited to attend a fun afternoon of writing at Shoreham Airport.

Beginners and writers with experience are welcome to attend the workshop with Helen Cross on Saturday, February 19.

Using Amy Johnson’s brief visit to the airport in the 1930s as a starting point, the workshop will look at techniques to write an exciting adventure.

Helen Cross’ first novel, My Summer of Love, won a Betty Trask Award and became a BAFTA award-winning feature film, directed by Pawel Pawlokowksi.

Her short stories have appeared in various magazines and anthologies and been broadcast on Radio 4.

The workshop is on from 2pm to 5pm. Participation is £4.50, free of charge to those affiliated to the airport.
