WORLD OF WORDS: Diary dates for film lovers

The Worthing Film Club, which celebrates its 10th anniversary next year, brings significant films to local audiences every month.

Today (October 13) there will be a screening of ‘Being There’ (1979) at Offington Methodist Church at 7.30pm as part of Mental Health Week. Admission is free, so do come early.

On November 7 the screening will be ‘Mustang’ (2015) from French-Turkish director Deniz Gamze Ergueven at the Connaught Studio, tickets £7 for non-members.

Membership of the club costs £35 a year for 12 films and use of its extensive DVD library.
