FILM: Spy Kids: All the Time in the World in 4D (PG)

Every other summer blockbuster seems to be jumping on the 3D craze, so Robert Rodriguez turns back the clock and re-imagines Smell-O-Vision for the 21st century, calling it ‘Aromascope’ in his latest instalment of the Spy Kids series.

Secret agent Marissa Cortez Wilson (Jessica Alba) has retired from active duty in order to be a doting wife for her husband Wilbur (Joel McHale) and stepchildren Rebecca (Rowan Blanchard) and Cecil (Mason Cook).

When the fate of the entire planet is jeopardised by the diabolical Timekeeper (Jeremy Piven), Marissa reluctantly heads back into the field with Rebecca and Cecil in tow, bolstered by help from dashing Gregorio Cortez (Antonio Banderas) and his high-kicking offspring Carmen (Alexa Vega) and Juni (Daryl Sabana).
