Expect high-quality feasts for the eyes with dazzling performances including The Flaming Feathers and Martini glass glamour from Isabella Bliss. The night offers a full bar plus table snacks and disco till the close, with tickets priced at £25.

“I have done every single festival,” Dawn is pleased to say. “Last year was our biggest, and one year we even did two events. This year I have got my biggest and most ambitious event yet in September, and with the Festival of Chichester just a month or so earlier, I was pleased that it coincided with my July Cabaret Club date.

“We have got a fabulous feast lined up. We have got our usual club, and we have decided to supersize it for the festival. The Chichester Cabaret Club usually happens in the Pallant Suite which is a really, really good town-centre venue, but for this one we are moving to the wonderful Westbourne House, which is a much bigger venue.”

Not necessarily bigger in terms of audience numbers, but certainly bigger in terms of stage which will allow Dawn to pull out all the stops for something truly special, she promises.

Dawn will herself be hosting and performing, but she is also promising plenty of fun from The Flaming Feathers, plus plenty more fun in an oversized Martini glass.

“And I always like to add a little surprise act in. It is going to be a classy evening of cabaret and disco and light bites, with a full disco after the actual show. It is something for people that love cabaret and burlesque, but it is also a night for the cabaret curious, the people that will never have been along to something like this before!”

Dawn stresses it is for 18s and over only, with the emphasis very much on tease, with broad-mindedness very much an entry requirement.

“You can’t get away from striptease because that’s what burlesque is, so if you are easily offended, it is probably best to stay away. But if you love glamour and adult humour and sequins, this is absolutely for you!”

The night is also a fundraiser for CoppaFeel!, a charity which “exists to educate and remind every young person in the UK that checking their boobs isn’t only fun, it could save their life.” A spokesman said: “We are the first breast cancer charity in the UK to create awareness among young people, with the aim of instilling a new healthy habit that could one day save their life.”
