Bognor Regis: Yasmin offers debut CD

Pianist Yasmin Rowe returns to her musical home to launch her debut CD at Bognor's Regis School of Music on Saturday, June 25 at 7.30pm (tickets from venue in advance or on the door).

“I grew up in Yapton. We moved to Yapton when I was about six, but I had started playing when I was about three, in Winchester. I was born in Winchester. At first, I started with my mum who teaches piano and she taught me until we moved to Yapton and we discovered the Regis School of Music. For many years I had lessons there with Nina Levtov, and that’s the reason I am doing my launch recital there. We have stayed in touch. Nina is great. She is so imaginative and so kind and so generous. She is so musical and, as I say, imaginative. When you are a child, that’s exactly what you need.”
