Artists from the Artists Open Shop will be inviting visitors to join in any time between 10am and 4pm.

Drawing materials will be provided and the artists will be on hand to help.

All the drawings will be used to create an installation which will go on display at a later date.

Museum manager Diana Peek said: “If you would like to see a particular building or style of building here, this is your opportunity to add it to Worthing’s landscape.

“Everyone is invited to come along and draw the buildings they love, hate or miss within the town.

“If you don’t like the architecture that’s already here, or if you’ve always wanted to see the Eiffel Tower on the seafront or a Roman villa in Lancing, why not take a moment to draw the buildings you wish were here?”

The event is open to all ages. People can draw free-hand, or copy or trace an image. Images of local streets and buildings from the museum’s extensive photographic collections will be provided.

Other events will be taking place at St Paul’s Centre, Chapel Road, on Saturday and the Guildbourne Centre on October 30. For more information, visit worthingbigdraw2010.wordpress.com
