SHOREHAM will host East Preston in the Sussex Senior Cup third round after a penalty shoot-out win at Westfield in their second round replay on Saturday (November 29).
Mussels beat their division-lower opponents 3-2 on spot-kicks, after a 1-1 draw after extra-time. Neil Kane gave Shoreham a 95th-minute lead but Westfield levelled on 105 minutes.

In County League Division 1, East Preston remain second from bottom
after a 2-0 defeat at home to Chichester.

In the same division, bottom-club Worthing United were defeated 2-0 at Three Bridges.

Arundel's match at Horsham YMCA, and Wick's game at Ringmer were both postponed owing to waterlogged pitches.

Rustington won a 12-goal thriller with Crawley Down 7-5 after extra-time to reach the Division 2 Cup semi-finals.

Blues had trailed 5-3 but went through with goals from Lee Gibbs, Andy Boxall, James Butt, Simon Clayton, Adam Bibb, with a penalty, James Bennett and Craig Cox.

In Division 2, Lancing lost 2-0 at home to Peacehaven.

Littlehampton drew 4-4 with Rye, having led 4-2. Golds' scorers were Jason Power, Ross McKay, Nathan Peacock and Mark Burgess.

Goals from Lee Waterhouse and James Pargeter helped Steyning Town to a 2-2 draw at Midhurst.

Southwick suffered a 5-2 reverse at new leaders Seaford. Adam Steele and Jack Hayward netted Wickers' goals.

Storrington's game at Bexhill, and Mile Oak's match at Wealden were postponed owing to waterlogged pitches.

The same reason accounted for Clymping's Division 3 game at Rottingdean Village.
