A TOTAL of 15,000 people packed the grounds of Wiston House, near Steyning, for the Big Church Day Out.
The audience came from all over the UK to watch the festival, organised by Delirious? keyboard player Tim Jupp.

A huge main stage was the focal point and entertainment included performances from US singers Israel Houghton and Michael W Smith, as well as Delirious? themselves.

Wiston Church was the venue for a 24-hour prayer tent and Olympic champion Sally Gunnell led a fun run round the park.

Thousands of cups of tea and scones were served in the tea tent while people relaxed to music from the King's Chamber Orchestra and Cathy Burton.
