TWO popular musicians will perform to raise money for a charity which rewards young people who achieve above expectations.
Gary Prior and Zoe Peate, pictured right, both from Steyning, are joining forces with other singers for a concert in aid of The Steyning Millennium Trust.

Pasta and Puccini is on at the Steyning Centre, in Fletcher's Croft, Steyning, on Saturday, February 6, at 7.30pm.

The centre will be decorated with an Italian theme and the audience will be treated to a four-course pasta supper while being entertained with a first-class performance of arias and ensembles.

Gary and Zoe will be joined by three friends also familiar to Steyning audiences, Jane Streeton, Gary Marriot and Mark Oldfield.

Between them, the singers have appeared on concert platforms and operatic stages worldwide, including the English National Opera, The Royal Opera House and Covent Garden.

All proceeds will go to The Steyning Millennium Trust, a charity making annual awards to Steyning Grammar School pupils of all age groups and abilities who achieve above expectation.

Trustee Charles Ashby said: "We are delighted and privileged that Gary, Zoe and friends have agreed to perform for us and help create what I am sure will be a spectacular evening for Steyning."

Tickets, priced £25, are available from The Steyning Bookshop.
