County council leader visits Steyning Grammar

THE leader of West Sussex County Council has visited Steyning Grammar School to hear about the a potential new sixth form centre.
Henry Smith met with chair of governors, Richard Davies, and head teacher, Dr John Peat, to discuss their aspirations to build a new sixth form centre which would require additional funding from the council.

Henry Smith said "I have welcomed the opportunity to visit Steyning Grammar School and to see the excellent work that has gone on here.

"I met senior staff and pupils on my tour and have been impressed with their commitment to enhancing the school facilities to make this school even better and even more of a success than it already is."
