Rob Clark got the winner to give Steyning Town Football Club a second successive Southern Combination League Division 1 win on Tuesday.
Clark struck 25 minutes from the end as Town secured a 2-1 home success over Selsey.
It was a second win in just four days for Alan Skipper’s side, following a 1-0 triumph at Little Common on Saturday.
The win leaves Town in tenth but they are now level on points with ninth-placed Lingfield and trail Langney Wanderers, in eighth, by a point, although, Steyning have played two more games.
It looked as though the game would be scoreless at the interval but Kevin Sharpe had other ideas. He netted just a minute before half-time to fire Steyning in front.
Selsey got themselves back on level terms 13 minutes after the break through Toby Lempriere.
Town were not to be denied, though, and Clark got the winner seven minutes later.
Steyning host third-placed and promotion-chasing Oakwood on Saturday, before they welcome Sidlesham on Tuesday.
