MILE OAK Football Club were dumped out of the Sussex Senior Cup in the second round at Three Bridges on Tuesday.
The defeat means Oak are now without a win in four matches in all competitions.
Three Bridges were the stronger side throughout the contest and ended up recording an emphatic win.
It was Bridges who opened the scoring on ten minutes when Williams Pearoux struck.
Oak found themselves two goals down before the break as Matt Daniel netted right on the stroke of half-time.
The game was effectively over on 56 minutes when Abu Touray made it three.
The home side then added a fourth four minutes later through Lee Carney.
Oak did manage to pull a goal back when Chris Paine scored with 25 minutes still remaining.
However, the home side added a fifth in the second minute of stoppage-time through Tony Garrod, as Oak fell in the Sussex Senior Cup second round and will now turn their attention to Division 2.
Mile Oak will be hoping to record their first win in five matches when they entertain Ringmer in the County League Division 2 on Saturday.
