SHOREHAM Football Club were knocked out of the Sussex RUR Cup by Haywards Heath on Tuesday.
The second-round fixture was decided by a solitary Francis Dellow strike four minutes before half-time.
Shoreham boss Kane Louis said: “It was a disappointing defeat for us. We created a few chances but didn’t take them and a mistake cost us.
“We made a few changes to the side from Saturday and gave a few others a chance but we were just not good enough on the night.
“Mark Goldstone went close with a couple of long range strikes but, other than that, we failed to create many chances.”
