East Preston Football Club manager Dominic Di Paola is desperate to get back into action to banish their last performance.

They now travel to Sidley in the league on Saturday, the same side that knocked them out of the John O’Hara Cup last Tuesday, and Di Paola said: “We can’t wait to play again after losing at Sidley. Not having played since then is doing my head in.

“After losing like that, we are desperate to get some football in to try to put it right. With the weather we’ve had and what the pitch was like there, it has to be in doubt again, which is a shame as we are desperate for a game.”

EP then travel to Steyning Town in the Sussex Senior Cup on Tuesday evening.
