Lancers all set for Albion cup tie

LANCING Football Club manager Martin Gander is hoping the weather holds off for his side’s match with Brighton & Hove Albion on Monday.

Lancers host Albion in the third round of the Sussex Senior Cup (7.45pm kick-off) and Gander is hoping the game goes ahead, after it was postponed earlier this month.

He said: “Fingers crossed, the weather holds out and the sun comes out. We will do our best in the match and, hopefully, there will be a decent crowd.”

Entry to the game is £6 for adults, £4 for concessions and £2 for under-16s.

Prior to the game on Monday, Lancers travel to East Preston on Saturday.
