Glenn Murray leads the way in the goalscoring chart with 16 goals, while Tomer Hemed has netted 13 times and Sam Baldock moved on to ten goals with a brace in the 2-0 win at Barnsley last week.

Knockaert, who has ten goals and seven assists this season, said: "The three of them are great strikers and are capable of scoring a lot of goals.

"It's good to have different options as well. Tomer is a goalscorer, Sam is someone who uses his pace and capability to do great things and Glenn is more of a target man but will score goals as well.

"It's great for me to have players like this around me and I think that's why my stats are good as well because they use me a lot and I can use them as well.

"If you look at their stats this season, it's massive. Tomer hasn't played a lot of games this season compared to last season but he's still scored a lot of goals.

"Sam is the same. He's in good form and Glenn has scored 16 goals. They've been crucial for the team and we are lucky to have them. Obviously I hope they are going to score more goals from now until the end of the season."

On the form of his strikers, Hughton said: "It's pleasing but on the other side of that, if some of those goals are distributed around the team that's also pleasing.

"Generally it's going to be strikers that win you football matches and it's good to see that level of competition up there."
