WORTHING Football Club have gone top of Ryman League Division 1 South as they cruised to a 4-0 victory away at Corinthian Casuals on Saturday (March 13).
With Croydon losing 1-0 at Fleet Town and Folkestone drawing 0-0 with Leatherhead, Rebels' second win in two days means them have jumped both Croydon and Folkestone into top spot.

Goals from Ben Williamson (two), a Jamie Brotherton penalty and lat
e strike from Ben Johnson sealed all three points for the Rebels, after a strong start from Casuals.

Alan Mansfield pulled off two top-class saves in the early stages as Casuals started much the brighter in the first seven minutes.

Williamson however made his mark on 12 minutes, as Stuart Axten flicked on Luke Denton's throw, and the striker put Worthing ahead.

Williamson's pace earnt him a second 10 minutes later. Paul Kennett rolled in Evan Archibald whose ball through saw Williamson beat his man and finished well.

After the break it was much of the same as Rebels dominated proceedings.

They had to wait until the 76th minute however for the next goal.

Casuals goalkeeper Luke Naughton saw red after bringing down Brotherton in the box, but Brotherton coolly slotted his penalty kick past the substitute keeper.

Karl Akehurst made his long-awaited return for Worthing coming on as a substitute with four minutes remaining.

Johnson wrapped things up on 90 minutes as his deflected shot sailed home.

Rebels will now look to make it three from three with a Monday night trip to Walton Casuals.

WORTHING: Mansfield; Denton, Farmer, Axten, Groves; Brotherton, Kennett, Patton, Johnson; Williamson, Archibald. Subs: Fenlon (Archibald 70), Brown (Kennett 74), Akehurst (Patton 84), Bowra, Greenfield.
