SHOREHAM Football Club begin their series of fundraising events for new floodlights on Sunday.
The club are doing a sponsored walk from Kingsway Hove Lagoon to the West Pier and back. The walk starts at 11am and afterwards, Mussels are holding a barbecue at the club, before their Under-18 side play at 3pm.

Vice-chairman Sammy Donnelly said: "We need to get new floodlights, which will probably cost around £20,000.

"We've applied for grants too, but they won't cover the whole cost.

"We are a community club who have 10 teams now, andhave organised functions throughout the year to raise as much funds as possible."
