I work in a charity shop in Shoreham and customers frequently leave their car and other keys, and spectacles, in the shop.
The keys are collected quite promptly (sometimes after a notice on the shop window), but the spectacles remain unclaimed.

I would suggest that a sticky label, with name and address, be put inside the case, or else the owner's phone number is mar
ked with a pen in large letters inside the lid.

We would then have no problem in contacting the owners, much to their relief, I am certain.
