IF you haven't yet visited the venues taking part in the Adur Art Trail, luckily, there's still one weekend left in which to do so.
The participants are exhibiting work of a high standard, and several venues also offer tea and cakes – a very welcome bonus.
Here are some of my favourites.
For sheer ingenuity of craftsmanship, the houseboat Verda, a regular on the trail,
is worth seeing.
Verda is accompanied by a floating fire engine, wittily turned into a dwelling, and probably the only one of its kind in the country!
It has an upturned boat on top, with a rockery roof garden.
Virtually all the materials used are reclaimed and recycled, so it is a living example of how to be green.
Tucked away in Broad Reach, Ropetackle, is Anita's Beads, an Aladdin's cave of beautiful beads and jewellery – a must for anyone with an interest in beadwork.
Swarovski crystal beads – which can be difficult to track down, as I have found – are stocked here.
If you like mosaics and stained glass, Star Gap, near Coronation Green, Shoreham, is the place to head for.
You may be able to see the mosaic artist at work on one of her designs in the garden over the weekend.
Stained glass is the theme of this year's exhibition at St Mary's Church, Shoreham.
There are some pretty quilts on show at Chatsworth Court, Riverside Road, and unusual wooden sculptures in the rear garden at 35 Beach Green.
I love the fish-shaped stepping stones.
I'm certainly looking forward to next weekend.
