WHAT a joke the wheelie bins rules and regulations are.
We are told to put out the bins by 6.30am, on the pavement, near a kerb and facing a certain way.
I thought the idea of having bins was that the refuse collectors did not have to lift bags of rubbish (health and safety).
Well, lo and behold, what did I see on collection day?
A refuse collector lifting bags of rubbish out of the bins, walking to the dustcart carrying the bags and throwing the bags into the cart.
What's changed? We might as well go back to the old way.
So much for rules and regulations.
