Adult learning classes

West Sussex County Council has cancelled all evening adult learning classes for the rest of the week.

Sessions, which take place at venues in Worthing, Littlehampton, Lancing and Steyning, have been called off due to the adverse weather conditions.

A spokeswoman for the council said: "Courses scheduled for evenings for the period Tuesday 12 to Friday 15 January have all been cancelled, some daytime provision is planned, for further information please contact your local centre."

Travel news

There are delays on the A24 Findon By-Pass because a car and lorry have been involved in an accident near the roundabout. This is causing traffic to back up both ways at the A280 Long Furlong.

Worthing Crematorium

Worthing Crematorium services are working as normal so far dispute a few inches of snow. People are advised to car share and to contact funeral directors in case families have decided to cancel services.

Recycling and refuse collections

Refuse and recycling crews are out collecting in Worthing and Adur.

There are some problems on certain roads but the crews plan to try to get back to these properties later today.
