A SHOREHAM woman took to the skies to compete in the world parachuting championships.
Julia Foxwell, left, of St Giles Close, Shoreham, is a member of the British team who will compete in the contest, which started on Sunday, in Germany.
Thirty-year-old Julia has been skydiving for more than a decade and appeared in the 2002 James Bond film Die Another Day, as Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry's stunt double.
She said the run-up to the world championships had involved a rigorous training regime for her and her fellow team members, including time spent practising in California.
