CARS, bicycles and scooters have been targeted by vandals, who poured creosote over the vehicles.
People living in White Rock Place, Southwick, woke up on Sunday, June 28, to find their cars and other vehicles covered in the substance, normally used as a wood preservative.

Police inspector Jason Wilson said at least seven vehicles had been damaged.

One resident had reported seeing a gang of about nine youths hanging around at 3am on Sunday.

The attacks are thought to have happened between 1am and 7.30am.

Anyone with any information about the vandalism should call Shoreham police station on 0845 6070999.
