STUDENTS in Worthing and Shoreham have been urged by their MP to enter the UK Aerospace Youth Rocketry Challenge before the competition entry deadline of 31 January.
The competition sees teams of students up and down the country design, build and launch a rocket to exacting specifications.
MP for Shoreham and East Worthing Tim Loughton said: “The rocketry challenge is a brilliant opportunity for Worthing and Shoreham’s best science talent to stretch their imaginations and meet like-minded peers from all over the UK.
“It is also a great way for more students to understand what fun engineering really is, and I am keen to encourage as many schools and colleges from my constituency to enter the competition.”
