Spruce up our churches in Sussex

Last week my grandson from Canada and I visited the reordering of the Rustington church.

Unfortunately, we were met with loud taped music, a floor which looked entirely out of place and, worst of all, chairs that were made of metal and a laminated plywood.

As my grandson remarked, why are we decimating our English heritage when according to him, he can see in Canada what is a resemblance of a condominium.

Needless to say the following day we visited Chichester Cathedral only to be faced with the same chairs in a Medieval church.

A massive disappointment for him and I am sure many visitors to our historical country.

Please stop this systematic destruction of our heritage.
