Old age is an attitude of mind

Have your say

What a depressing letter from David W WH-03-03-16-letters- ebb.

Old age is an attitude of mind. Last year I celebrated my eightieth birthday. I never dreamed that I would reach that age as my parents and sister all died in their sixties.

Fifty three years ago I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.

I was thankful that I had my boys, them aged 2 years and 4 months and a reason to keep going.

I know that I am fortunate to still have the love and support of my wonderful husband. We celebrated our diamond anniversary in July.
