Leaving EU is not the answer

We need to remember that those fleeing war and persecution in the home countries will be doing so whether we are in the EU or not.

We need to remember that those fleeing war and persecution in the home countries will be doing so whether we are in the EU or not.

It’s our co-operation with Europe which means that the UK border is in Calais, not Dover. If this co-operation was sacrificed, and the border moved back from Calais to Kent, we would be in a much worse position.

We must step up with our European partners to try to resolve this crisis, not step away from the problem.

The ‘Outers’ want us to face this challenge alone and isolated, but Britain has always been stronger working together with our European allies.
