People of all ages took to the track in Worthing over the weekend as a ‘pop-up’ velodrome pedaled into town.
Amateur riders had the chance to challenge some of the country’s best cyclists on the StreetVelodrome, located in the grounds of Beach House Grounds.
Under near perfect sunshine on both Saturday and Sunday, people were encouraged to have a go and there were a number of children’s races before the competitive action on Sunday saw the races for amateur and professional riders.
The velodrome was there for one weekend only and there were a number of stalls and entertainment for the crowds to enjoy.
