YOUNG people from the Nautical Training Corps gave a performance to remember in Shoreham this afternoon.
The West Sussex South Region Mass Marching Band left Pond Road at 2pm and marched to East Street, where the musicians performed to a large crowd.
The band then marched over Adur Ferry Bridge to the Waterside Inn on Shoreham Beach for another performance before returning to Pond Road.
Band members are cadets and officers from TS Intrepid in Lancing and Sompting, TS Implacable in Littlehampton, TS Montrose in Rose Green and TS Sturdy in Chichester.
The visit was part of Shoreham RiverFest 2014, which continues into tomorrow, with a 10km run at 10am along the banks of the River Adur, a charity swan race from Emerald Quay at 12pm and music on Coronation Green.
See Thursday’s Shoreham Herald for a full report and picture special.
