SENSITIVE Saxon is a five-year-old pointer who needs a quiet, active owner.
Long muddy walks are its favourite, so an owner who enjoys rambling would be perfect.
Saxon’s inquisitive nose keeps him busy on walks and the dog likes to sniff and explore at its leisure.
Tracey Rae at Dogs Trust Shoreham said: “Saxon would suit a gentle owner who will give him the patience he needs to settle into a new home and routine.
“He would be happiest walking in quieter places away from lots of unknown dogs running around.
“His new family will need to visit him a few times just to build up a rapport with him. Saxon is very sweet natured and his new owners will be rewarded with a very loyal companion.”
Older teenage children would be all right but when it comes to other dogs, Saxon prefers a female companion.
