GENTLE, understanding owners are needed for Rupert, a Jack Russell terrier and chihuahua cross.
They need to be willing to give the four-year-old time to settle and make multiple visits to the centre to get to know the male dog.
Dogs Trust said: “He is a sweet boy who takes time to bond with new people but becomes very cheeky and affectionate once he does have a relationship.”
Rupert was quite underweight when he arrived at the Shoreham rehoming centre, so understandably food is important.
A quiet, adult-only home with access to a garden is sought, so Rupert can play, potter and toilet in peace.
Call the Shoreham centre on 01273 452576 for further information.
