Otty is a fun dog looking for owners who enjoy training and are happy to continue this at home.
The wire-haired German pointer cross is smart and loves treats, so this will help with training.
A two-year-old male, Otty can be unsure around new people so is looking for an adult home without visiting children.
Tracey Rae, rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Shoreham, said: “Once you have built up a bond with him, he is affectionate and likes to interact with you.
“He can be excitable at times and is learning to have four feet on the floor when greeting people.
“Otty is very playful with his toys. He is happy to play on his own but also likes you to join in at times, too. This would be a fun way to build a bond with him.”
An enclosed garden is essential. Otty is unable to live with cats or small furries but would be happy living with another dog and loves to play chase.
New owners would need to own a car to access quiet walking area for exercise.
Otty travels well in the car and could be left alone for short periods once settled in at home.
Dogs Trust would like new owners to visit Otty multiple times to build a relationship before Otty goes home with them permanently. Contact the centre on 01273 452576.
