FLIGHT and Florence arrived at Dogs Trust Shoreham separately but having shared a kennel, they have now fallen in love.
Staff would like to see the four-year-old whippet and three-year-old crossbreed housed together, though this is not essential.
The charity said: “If they are rehomed separately, then Flight will need another dog to live with, but Florence would be happy being an only dog as she loves people.
“Neither of them are 100 per cent happy being left alone, so new owners will need to be prepared to work on this and build it up slowly.”
Male dog Flight is a playful whippet, while female dog Florence may have shih tzu breeding.
They can live with children aged eight and over, if the children are sensible and calm around them.
Dogs Trust said: “They love being near you and chilling out and will make wonderful companions. They also walk nicely on the lead and love to have a good chewing session on a tasty bone.”
