Organisers Eve and Bob bring together members of various motorcycle clubs for the annual event and numbers have built up over the years.

When the museum closed in 2003, the bikers helped move the garden to Lancing College and raised money for Help for Heroes each year.

Following changes to the garden this year and the dedication of the new Shoreham Airport Community Memorial in June, the bikers decided to move their service back to the airport.

Around 80 bikers made the journey and £200 was raised for the community memorial.

The Shoreham-by-Sea branch of the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) will hold its Remembrance service at the community memorial today, starting at 10.45am
