CHILDREN experienced entertainment from the Victorian era at Steyning Museum last week.

A special children’s activity morning was held at the museum, in Church Street, Steyning, during half term.

Joan Denwood, education volunteer, said: “They had fun dressing up, looking through Victorian stereoscopes, playing Victorian games and pastimes, brass rubbing and making Christmas cards.

“Children and parents had an interesting morning and said what a great time they had.”
