Vehicle crashes into Mile Oak home

A vehicle came off the road and crashed into a house in Mile Oak last night, police have confirmed.

Just before 6pm the vehicle came off the road, went through a wall and into a house on Southdown Road, police said.

Police said there was nothing suspicious about the crash.

The driver, an elderly man, may have sustained small injuries to his hand, police added.

A building inspector was called to check it was safe to remove the car from the house, before a recovery team were called to take the car away, according to the police.
